Back to Durham soon

Its almost that time of year again when I head back to Oshawa for another year of school. This year I’m sharing a house with my roommate from last year Ty, his as always lovely girlfriend Lisa as well as two of Lisa’s friends from school. The house we are renting is pretty big from what the pictures I’ve seen, and costing each of us $500/month it better be dam nice. Utilities, cable and internet are all included (or so I’m told). It will be awesome either way, I’m really looking forward to seeing Ty and Lisa again, as well as a few people from my classes, like Darcy!

I’ll be packing up this weekend and taking off about the middle of next week.

Crashing and Burning

Everyone that has an Xbox 360 dreads the day their console could potentially turn it on and see nothing but the Red Ring of Death. We’ll this happened to me a few weeks ago. Now, I was under the impression that the version of the console that I got wasn’t suppose to melt like it did. It took 3 calls to get through to a Microsoft Support Representative that I could understand and/or wasn’t deaf. But once I go through and told them the issue he took my contact info and put me on hold to verify my address. About 10 minutes later he comes back on, “Sir, I cannot seem to locate your address. Are you sure this is correct?” I told him it was, he put me back on hold and tried again. A few minutes later he came back and said the same thing. I reassured him it was the correct address.

About a week later I recieved the casket they sent to send it back in. They included shipping foam, pre-paid return labels and even a chunk of packing tape to reseal the box.
