Sunfire Robe

Tonight while we were clearing Kalecgos trash and the Sunfire Robe Pattern dropped! I was top DKP and was able to snag it. The rest of the raiders were just blown away at the fact that I had all materials to craft it, enchant it and gem it on me.

The Druid and Sunwell

I’ve had a Druid sitting around level 16 or so for a few months now, and just about a week ago I decide to get back into leveling it. She is level 31 as of this blog post. Druids seem to be one of those over powered classes that hardly seem to die. Which is a good thing because lets face it, who likes to die? Not me! I seem to be able to do more difficult quests than I could do on my Mage or Rogue. My Shaman seemed to be able to do about the same difficulty quests as the Druid. Granted there have been a bunch of pre-60 questing buffs to the amount of experience gained from mobs and quests, as well as how difficult the quests actually are. Each zone used to have a handful of quests that required groups but they have almost all been changed to solo-able.

Sunwell boss learning seems to be going good. We killed Kalecgos last week and have started to learn Brutallus. The Brutallus encounter should be dooable fairly easily with a few more nights of attempts. We averaged about 24,000 raid wide DPS on our better attempts last night, and the DPS wasn’t even fully buffed, potted and using 2-min potions. I think once we have a few more shots at him we will get him down.

Congrats!

I found this hilarious song the other day and wanted to share it with all of you. Lyrics can be found here. Take a quick listen!

I’d like to congratulate Carpe Diem for officially becoming a Sunwell Plateau guild. We downed the first boss, Kalecegos last night! Grats to everyone who got the first kill loot, I’m sure we’ll be seeing more of it in the coming weeks. But for now Its time to learn Brutallus.

Amani War Bear

I’d like to thank Fallout for hosting a half Fallout and half Carpe Diem Zul’Aman run this afternoon and letting us all roll on the Amani War Bear. It is by far one of the best mounts in the game.
