A couple weeks ago the Midsummer Festival started, which introduced a new temporarily summonable boss in Slave Pens. He drops some pretty nice Cloaks and Neck pieces, well nice if your a pre-kara noob 
. But besides the Necks and Backs, he drops a decent Staff that just looks bad ass. Frostscythe of Lord Ahune. And, being the enchanter that I am, another drop of interest from him would be the new Deathfrost enchant.
This weekend Blizzard had their World Wide Invetational in Paris France. Their big annoncment was Diablo III! Check out all the screen shots as well as the trailer and game play videos.
Tonight my guild only had the Illidari Council and Illidan left to clear Black Temple. The first pull on Illidari Council was botched beacuse none other than myself messed up the pull and got one shotted. Second pull we killed them. Since we have been in BT we’ve only seen the same two or three items drop from Council, but tonight a Cloak of Illidari Council dropped finally!! I won it. I was happy. It took a few pulls on Illidan to get him down but it wasn’t too bad. We got our third Skull of Gul’dan in a row.
Last night we decided to head out to the Isle of Kuel’Danis to start the learning process on the first boss, Kalecgos. We got another Mounting Vengeance, this was our second one that has dropped. It went to Mythed as offspec. I’m told slow offhand weapons are only really good for Shaman and our enhance Shaman Mudeer already had one. Kalecgos learning was very good last night. We have the initial pull going good, people are aware of where they need to be during that time and once our tank has him in position. Portal explostions seem to be killing people, perhaps we all need to stack a bit more +stam gear, I know I will be on our next attempts. Mages and Druids have a pretty vital role in the fight. Every so often the boss casts a Curse of Boundless Agony on a random player. At first we can leave in on people because the effect is neglable, but by about 40% HP left on the boss we will stop DPSing and only decurse. I think we’ll have him down soon enough, maybe by the end of the week.
Last night we finished Mt. Hyjal, in one night I might add, a guild first. But that’s not even the best part. The Tempest of Chaos dropped!! Dang Alisse had 3 more DKP than I did /tear, either way, I’m just glad one finally dropped for us!
